Education and Training Services
Our training is designed to support the obligations on regulated bodies to comply with complex European legislation, national regulations and circulars in relation to public procurement; and the responsibilities borne by staff tasked with the management of the procurement process.
Greenville’s mission is to support and inform, thereby arming procurement personnel with the tools to manage the three key procurement challenges of compliance, value for money and risk.
Recognising its clients’ diverse training requirements and the need for flexibility in the delivery of such training Greenville designs and delivers Open, In-House, Modular and Accredited courses
Greenville offers a range of specialist training courses via open programmes which can either be taken as a learning plan for those new to procurement or as stand-alone training for procurement professionals who require instruction in specific elements of the procurement process. The training plan is designed around the essential, step-by-step building blocks of Introducing the basics, Understanding and applying the Regulations, Running a full Tender Process and Managing a Contract.
Many clients opt for bespoke in-house training which can be fully tailored to the specific needs of the organisation and take account of the experience level and tasks for which staff need training. Our approach of fully scoping and designing the programme to meet the client’s training objectives ensures the programme delivered attains the objectives set. In-house training can range from half-day programmes to modular multi-day sessions over a defined period of weeks or months, fully customisable to meet staff availability.
Greenville designs and delivers the NUI-accredited Certificate in Public Procurement and the Professional Diploma in Public Procurement via its training partner, the Institute of Public Administration. Both the Certificate and the Professional Diploma are 11-day programmes delivered over 6 months in the academic year. The Certificate is a Level 6 Special Purpose Award on the National Framework of Qualifications while the Professional Diploma is a Level 8 Special Purpose Award.
