About this course

  • December 7th – (Tuesday) – 3 hour session (10am – 1pm) (Virtual)
  • February 2022, 3rd – (Thursday) – 3 hour session (10am – 1pm) (Virtual)
  • May 2022, 16th – (Monday) – 3 hour session (10am – 1pm) (Virtual)

This programme to be delivered using virtual classroom (via Zoom), breakout rooms and guided practice. Each programme consists of 1 interactive live virtual classroom session accompanied by supporting material.


This programme will provide participants with the skills to use the eTenders website for the publication of national and EU notices to ensure fully compliant tender processes including the requirement to go fully electronic. It will explain in detail the various procedures and features of creating an RFT.

Target Audience

This course is ideal for those with a basic knowledge of procedures and the procurement concepts, tasked with responsibility for completing and publishing notices for their organisation.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course participants will be equipped with the knowledge to log on to the site; set up and publish national and EU notices; upload and receive responses electronically and undertake all communication with suppliers via the system.

Overview of Procurement – Thresholds, Procedures, Timeframes, CPV codes

Overview of the eTenders System

Demo - Creating Request for Tenders (RFT)

Managing Responses

Contract Award Notices

Communicating with Applicants/Tenderers

Deleting & Cancelling Notices

Recap on training & key learnings


What background knowledge is necessary?

A general understanding of procurement.

What is the refund policy?

All cancellations must be received in writing or the full course fee is
payable. Where delegates cancel more than 5 days prior to the course 50% of the course fee is payable. Cancellations received within 5 days
will be liable for the full fee.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the event.

Do I need to take the courses in a specific order?

Ideally after the Introduction Course or relevant experience.
